Spring-time Easter Bunny Cupcakes

Easter is almost here so our good friend Claire from Lily in the Labyrinth came round for another cupcake decorating get-together to get us in the mood for Easter…

The cupcakes were carrot and walnut flavour, frosted with yummy cream cheese frosting that had a hint of orange zest. We then covered them with a layer of green sugarpaste and decorated them with some sugarpaste flowers and little Easter bunnies.

The little Easter bunnies were a bit tricky to make but once we’d perfected the ears it was plain sailing all the way!

I can’t get over how cute they are, it’s a shame to eat them…well almost! Here’s some more photos of our cute Easter cupcakes…
